4th GRADE WAX MUSEUM
Thursday, Sept. 20th
8:30-9:00am
This is a fun and exciting event that you won’t want to miss! Each 4th grade student has been researching a historical figure that has influenced change and/or played a role in making change in society.
Students have worked hard researching their historical figure and will showcase their work by participating in a wax museum. We hope you will join us for this fun event.
Parents,
Your child has chosen a historical figure. They have been researching their person and will be writing an informational essay about their historical figure. At home, we will need you to help him/her choose a prop that will portray this person. Think about a good prop that would catch the attention of visitors. For example, if your child was portraying Abraham Lincoln, they may choose to create a paper hat. Thanks for your help and we hope to see you at the Wax Museum.

Please see link for information on Biblionasium.

Progress reports will be going home tomorrow. Please be sure that you are also checking ParentVue for current grades as well. ParentVue codes were distributed last week.
  • Back to Football Friday!  Students are encouraged to wear their favorite NFL jersey's and will be participating in football-related stations during their specials time.  This is an NFL sponsored event so NFL attire is recommended but if all you have is college, that's ok.  If your child wears a football themed shirt, they may wear athletic shorts. If they do not wear a football themed shirt, then they must be in standard Teasley Friday attire. If you can volunteer, please sign up.  Football Friday!.
  • Family Fun Night is TOMORROW!!  We are so excited to see all of you at the school between 5-7pm.  If you missed the pizza pre-orders, don't worry!  Pizza will be for sale while supplies last.  We are still in need of some volunteers to help with the event so if you can spare some time, please sign up here Family Fun Night Volunteers
Supply orders are almost 100% filled.  We are still waiting on a few things, but the majority of items have been delivered.  We had an unbelievable amount of participation and that coupled with all the other schools in the county ordering at the same time has slowed down our delivery.  We have also had to order from multiple vendors due to the high number of supplies we were ordering.  We so appreciate the support of the parents and the teachers in this first year of the fundraiser!  I assure you that your students are not going without and the classroom communities are working together to support every student.  #TeasleyTigers
