Learning objectives this week...

Unit of Inquiry Theme: HOW THE WORLD WORKS (An inquiry into the interaction between the natural world (physical, biological and human societies)

• We will continue learning about the structure of narrative writing. 
• We will continue our literary book study on the book Wonder. We will be learning about the difference between drama, poetry and prose. Assessment Friday. Please remember that students should be reading a minimum of 20 minutes daily. 
• We are in full swing of adding boos to our "Shelfie". Please encourage your child to participate, so that they can take part in our book celebration at the end of the quarter.
• In math we will learn the value of fractions and how we can compare them.
• We will continue our learning of light. Class task on light on Friday.
• In grammar we will revisit using figurative language in our writing.
